The Federal government and many mortgage lenders require flood insurance for properties located in flood zones. Since much of Florida has been designated a flood zone,many of our customers are obligated to obtain a separate flood insurance policy in addition to their homeowners policy.

The National Flood Insurance Program provides this special coverage to homeowners,business owners and renters in participating U.S. communities. It makes available flood insurance policies that cover the building, its contents or both.Additionally, flood insurance may be available in non-flood-zone areas through private insurers.
